Hello, I’m Rebeka, but my friends calls me Beki. I’m 16 years old. I live in a small village in Hungary. I’m interested in art and music, but my biggest love is biology. I can play the cello and the flute. About music, I don’t know If I have a favourite genre, but mostly I’m listening to rock or pop-rock. I love 5SOS, Papa Roach and I prevail too. I find biology interesting, especially the human body and other mammals. Later in life, I want to be a doctor.
I find it one of the most important things to get to know about other cultures and communities, that’s why I’m a member of the LGBTQ+ community. It started when I first heard about the Pride festival and parade. Then I started to look at everything about that and I was like ‘What is that?’ and ‘How does it work?’. That was like 3 years ago, this whole thing brought a lot of positive things into my life. After that I’ve become more open-minded and I’ve become more interested in other cultures.
I applied for the PeaceCamp because it’s the best opportunity to learn about each other. It is one way to make our world a great and peaceful planet!

Hey, my darlings. My name is Erika Tímea Milán, but most people calls me Era. I’m 16 years old, turning 17 in August. I live in a small village in the middle of nowhere called Péteri. I love reading, and I spend 90% of my time doing it. In the other 10% I watch series and listen to music. And go to school, but I usually read there as well, so it doesn’t count. If I’m really determined I write short stories, but these are rare occasions, and often unfinished.
I can’t really describe my music taste because it’s kinda messed up. One moment I listen to Hamilton, but the next song is from Halestorm. In conclusion I will listen to anything.
I should probably mention that I’m a media student, but to be honest that is not that important.
The reason I wanted to take part in this camp is that I love different cultures, and to learn about them. And well, this is a great opportunity, isn’t it?

Hi! My name is Boti and I just became 16 years old. I live in Gyál, which is a small town near Budapest, Hungary. I really like sciences, my favorites are chemistry and biology. Science has always been a part of my life. When I was little, I watched David Attenborough’s films instead of any movies, and as a bedtime story my mom read out normal encyclopedias. My dream is getting a PHD in chemistry, and if I have the opportunity, one in biology too.
For a long period in my life, I played the piano. I really like playing it, but now I don’t have time to do so, so now I just listen to music. I really like rock, trip-hop, hip-hop, alternative and jazz music. My all-time favorite is Damon Albarn and any of his bands (Blur; Gorillaz; The Good, the Bad & the Queen, etc.). I’d like to go back to music school and try singing, but school is taking too much time away from me.
The reason I joined the PeaceCamp is that I’d like to know more about other cultures. My parents didn’t really show me enough of this when I was little, so I am trying to learn more about other countries past, present and future.
I am really excited about the camp, and I can’t wait until the first day, so if you’d like to contact me, you can do it through Facebook, you will only find one person with my name, and it’s going to be me.

Hi, my name is Anett Nagy. I’m 17 years old, I live in Budapest, which is the capital city of Hungary.
I spend my free time mostly with my friends but I really love dancing, watching series and doing make up. If I’m not doing any of these I’m probably with my family or with my pets.
I don’t really know what I wanna do in the future but right now I’m in a math class (yes I love maths although I’m not very good at it :D ).
I want to take part of this camp to make new friends abroad, to learn about other cultures and countries and I think this is a very good chance to improve my English.

Hi, my name is Adél Krajcsovicz. I'm a 17 year-old girl from Hungary. I'm living in the suburbs of Budapest. It's the capital city which I really like.
I spend a lot of time with my family and friends. I talk to them regularly and we often go out somewhere and enjoy each other's company. I’m always there for them. They would describe me as a friendly and very open-minded person.
In my free time I usually listen to music, read a book and watch series or films. I'm really interested in art in general. Unfortunately, I haven't had a lot of free time for sketching and drawing recently. I'm thinking about going to a university where I can learn architecture or some kind of design.
In addition I'm a fan of sports and healthy eating. I go to the gym three times a week and I also train at home.
The reason why I'd like to take part in the camp is to get to know other cultures and new perspectives. I can’t wait to hear your stories and how you live your lives. I’m interested in the differences of our opinions and it’s also a good opportunity to meet new people and make international friends.

Hello! I’m Balázs. I’m 16 years old and I live in Budapest with my family. I’m interested in science and later I would like to work in it. My number one hobby is music, I’ve played the cello since 2011 and I’ve played in a symphonic orchestra too for several years, I love doing it. I love listening to music also, I adore all kinds of rock music, classical music and I like old evergreen hits also, but I’m open to any other genres and for electronic music too. Beyond music I enjoy sports, especially in a team, and I like photography too as a hobby. As recreation a can travel with anyone to anywhere, that’s the best for my mind. The protection of the Earth is very important for me in order to have an ensured future. I’m interested in political questions, and I think talking about interesting topics is significant.
Why am I going to PeaceCamp? The number one reason is that I want a new, complex view about the world, I want to see the problems and the politics from other views. I hope I will explore new issues and questions, we will see the problems of the others. And I would like to improve my communication skills also, because I think it is very important nowadays. Honest talks are the best for me, and I think here my opinions will be heard and I’m also curious what the others will say.
